Re: Tax is Not So Taxing at Horsfield & Smith Accountants

Bury Chartered Accountants, Horsfield & Smith, are celebrating exam success after two of their members of staff have recently achieved the ATT (Association of Tax Technicians) qualification.

Emma Brierley and Clare Sharples have worked extremely hard to complete this qualification, which covers all aspects of tax compliance, business tax, sole traders, partnerships, self-assessment, corporation tax, accounting and VAT.

Peter Nicol, Director at Horsfield & Smith, commented: “the Directors are thrilled that Emma and Clare are now fully qualified members of the ATT. They have worked so hard and put so much effort in. It is a very difficult qualification to accomplish.

This success means that our Tax Team continues to go from strength to strength and is able to constantly provide specialist tax advice to both businesses and individuals”.

Peter Alvarez, Senior Tax Adviser at Horsfield & Smith, commented “this is fantastic news for our Tax Team and our clients. The ATT is a well respected qualification and the exams are notoriously difficult. Emma and Clare have done exceptionally well to qualify as members and we all stand to benefit from their achievement”.

As a well established firm of Chartered Accountants, Business and Tax Advisers, Horsfield & Smith has built a great reputation in and around Bury. With their knowledge and expertise, they are well equipped to advise businesses and individuals on the most complex tax matters.
